Working Hours: Port operates 24 hours a day year round,

PILOTAGE:

Pilotage is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the port. Pilotage is provided by the Uzmar Pilot.

VHF channels 16 & 10. Notice to the pilot to be given three hours before arrival at the bay.

CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT:

Ø      Cargo Handling Equipment: Pier has 2 fixed cranes, each with 10 Metric Tons lifting capacity.      

        However, discharging and loading operations are mostly done by using vessels' own gears.

Ø      Cargo Handling Rates:  Between 3.000-5.000 Metric Tons/Day for Iron & Steel Scrap Cargoes.
