DESCRIPTION OF PORT

 

Private jetty for loading/discharging iron and steel products. HABAS PIER is the first private pier established at the south of the entrance of Nemrut Bay.

This pier is generally used for discharging operations of “Iron & Steel Scrap” and loading operations of “Finished Steel Products”.

Working Hours: Port operates 24 hours a day year round.

ANCHORAGE AREAS:

PILOTAGE:

 

Pilotage is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot VHF channels 16, 10 three hours before arrival at the bay.

TOWAGE:

 

Towage service is provided by the Uzmar Pilot for 24-hours-a-day by all year round. Contact details of Uzmar Pilot is given above.

BERTHING:

 

Pier is constructed in Dock Shape and both the right and left sides of the pier can be used for berthing of vessel(s). Due to the shape and length of the pier, several vessel(s) can be berthed at a single time and serviced. Pier is constructed at 4 meters higher than the sea-level with a sea-water draft level from minimum 8 to maximum 25 meters from land-end to the sea-edge of the pier.
