Location and Description of the Port:

 

Eregli port is situated on the west coast of Black Sea.

Erdemir and TTK quays are within the port protected by break- waters.

Pilotage:

 

Pilotage is compulsory for ERDEMIR PORT and provided by the Eregli Iron and Steel works administration.

Ø      Not necessary for the vessels up to 500 GRT.

Ø      1 tugboat compulsory between 500- 5000 GRT.

Ø      2 tugboats compulsory between 5001-15 000 GRT.

Ø      3 tugboats compulsory over 15000 GRT.
