Operates 24 hours a day, year round.

Pilotage:

 

Pilotage Is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the ports provided by the Uzmar Pilot.

VHF channels 16, 10 Notice to be given three hours before arrival of the vessel at the bay.

Mostly by vessels' own gear.

There are “Mobile Crane” facilities for rent.

Very fast operations. For Iron & Steel Scrap: 3.000-5.000 mt/day depending on number of Shore (Mobile) Cranes hired.

The vessel must sail within 2 hours of the completion of the final draft survey, otherwise the ship will be charged with a further day's port dues.
