It is a private port under management of Alemdar Holding Company.

Location and Description of the port:

Diliskelesi/Alemdar Installation is situated on the sea of Marmara on northern coast of Gulf of İzmit.

Pilotage:

 

Pilotage is compulsory and provided by the “Turkish Maritime Organization, Gulf Pilotage” from Darıca point to berthing pier, vice-versa is also compulsory and provided by the same organization.

Towage:

Towage is not necessary for the vessels up to 500 GRT.

 

• One tugboat is compulsory for the vessels of more than 500 GRT.

• Two tugboats are compulsory for the vessels of more than 5000 GRT.

• Three tugboats are compulsory for the vessels of more than 25000 GRT.

• Four tugboats are compulsory for the vessels of more than 50000 GRT.

Tugboats are provided by the Turkish Maritime Organization.
